Our clients organisation is all about people – the people who live in their homes, the people in the communities they serve and the people they work with.
So, it’s no surprise that they recruit for attitude and behaviour which are central to them delivering great experiences for everyone!
They employ people who are passionate about making a difference who can take responsibility and get things done. And they have developed an agile, flexible culture which supports people to do this.
As a not-for-profit housing association, they provide homes and services to over 16,000 people across Greater Manchester. We build affordable new homes, work with partners to reduce homelessness and support people to reach their potential.
At Morris Court they’re looking for those who will support people to maintain their independence and remain an active member of the local and wider community. A person who can challenge stigma and support people with enduring mental health to overcome these challenges.
Our client need people who:
Have experience in a similar role – with adults with organic memory loss and/or enduring mental health.
Have knowledge of support services and will have worked in a similar role, in an accommodation based / outreach / crisis management or community hub setting.
Is a great people person, that can motivate scheme members to engage with support and make positive life choices.
A full valid driving licence with access to your own vehicle for work purposes is required, as well as flexibility towards working hours. It is also very important for their ideal person to have resilience as you will be supporting people through complex mental health.
Everyone’s welcome at our client. Their culture is inclusive, and they are committed to increasing diversity. They enable everyone to be themselves at work, so that they feel at home with them. And they trust and support people to do their best, in a role that is fulfilling and rewarding because they know that this helps them to deliver better outcomes for their customers and their colleagues.
So if you have a great rapport with people, have experience of working in a supported housing environment or relevant social care setting and can make a difference – they’d love you to join their team!
